Join us for an exciting night of Boots, Beer, BBQ, Bourbon and Bands! This will be an evening to celebrate Sloss Furnaces in the center of this this incredible place. Tickets will be limited to 300 so that we can bring you an experience like nowhere else on earth.
Rodney Scott's BBQ has donated a spectacular dinner, served family style, plus drinks of every kind. But the most important part of the night will be you!
The night switches gear around 8:00 with Grammy Award Nominee Aaron Lee Tasjan. Jump on the dance floor to an upbeat blues fusion sound or simply enjoy an extraordinary show!
A bourbon tasting and cigars sampling will be provided at the base of the Furnace for those who love that Southern tradition.
You'll receive a handmade iron gift, made on site by one of the largest metal art teams in the world.
You will be one of the first to see the new plans for the future of Sloss Furnaces. Our Board of Directors and people throughout the community spent nine months helping determine how Sloss Furnaces - a museum and national historic landmark for the last 44 years - will become Birmingham's backyard and the eastern bookend to Railroad Park. As the entire Lakeview District has grown, we will become the place where people from all over Central Alabama come to play. The lead designers from Studio A will be on hand to share insights as well.
Today, Sloss Furnaces educates, entertains and inspires over 100,000 people each year. This important next step will be the spark that lights a new path that includes this dramatic new park to unite downtown, new immersive learning opportunities, expansion of a national school for metal arts, and preservation of this extraordinary site for generations to come.
